Last weekend we made the trip to Shreveport to celebrate the marriage of Jeff and Andrea at the
Barnwell Memorial Garden and Art Center. It was hands down, by far the best wedding we've ever been to. The bride was stunning as always. She walked down the aisle to Viva La Vida by
Coldplay. Mayor Cedric Glover said the greeting. Rabbi Dr. Jana De
Benedetti was hysterical and even stopped by to visit with Audrey for a while. The happy couple's ring bearers were their pugs, Mr.
Miyagi and Daniel-
san. And the recessional was Crazy in Love by
Beyonce. The flowers were beyond gorgeous and the food was great. But I think the coolest way the couple put their spin on a wedding was their exit. Most people have the guests throw rice, bird seed or flowers. Jeff, Andrea and their wedding party left on a
Mardi Gras float and threw beads down to the guests as they left downtown Shreveport! It was a great party, wonderful ceremony and we were so happy to get to visit with so many of our friends and celebrate with the happy couple.
Mazal tov!

I don't normally take Audrey to evening weddings but we were leaving for Florida the next morning and she's too young to hang out in the casinos. But she did great, didn't make a peep through the ceremony.
