So far we have been lucky enough to find time to make it to Fredericksburg every year since we started dating. We always stay at a different cabin. This year we chose Weirich Farms and Audrey and my dad joined us.
It's a 40 acre ranch that's home to tons of deer and countless antiques.

The cabin was the orginial bakery in Fredericksburg, built in 1850.

Audrey was all buckled in and ready to go. I got her a new toy to make the 3 hour trip more fun. She did really well. I was happily surprised.

It was so nice to look out the windows and see up to 25 deer.

One morning I got up and there were 3 no more than 10 feet from the window.

View from the back porch.

The ranch cat, Catsa, loved Audrey.
We also did a ton of shopping at the little shops and the antique trade days. They had craft booths set up with tons of adorable kid stuff. Audrey got some cute hand made items like bows, blankies and a sleeping bag and pillow. I think the custom kid stuff was the best part of the trip.

Audrey was quite a hit. Barker couldn't hardly take a step with out someone stopping him to tell him how cute Audrey is. Not a bad problem to have I suppose.

One of the neat antiques we picked up is this rocking horse for Audrey.

It came from an estate sale in Sweden. It dates back to the turn of the century.
We also got her an antique pram, or I think some people call them baby buggies. I didn't get a picture of it. It's still at my dad's but I hope to get it ready and in her room before too long. It's too cute.
One of the best things about going down there is the food. The restaurants are amazing. We always visit The Cotton Gin. So I fed Audrey before we left and also took a bottle along, just in case. Well she decided she wanted the extra bottle and I think she ended up eating quite a bit. She looked like she had just finished her 3rd plate at Thanksgiving dinner. She was totally milk drunk. It was too funny.
Funny, I don't think I've ever seen her look more like her daddy.
She got a little bored on the way home so Barker came to her rescue.

He found some Yo Gabba Gabba on his Iphone and about 45 seconds of that made things better.
All and all it was a great trip.
