Audrey's 1st Ranger Game

We took Audrey to her 1st Ranger game today. They lost, sad sad sad but we still had a good time.

Audrey was hot and bored so we went for a little walk and some ice cream to cool down. Then I heard Barker say "Hey, was that Henry?" And out from under the stairs popped Barker's friend Tom and his son, Henry.

So we watched the rest of the game with them and the kids shared snacks and books. What a wonderful end to a perfect weekend.

5K

My friend Johanna got her family, friends and some of the moms in our group together for a NOCC 5K Saturday morning in Grapevine. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time. (Audrey got in a good nap.)

After the 5K we headed over to Johanna's restaurant, Lazy Bones, for breakfast. It was yummy.

Logan, Camden, Ella, Audrey, Grayden and Alec in their Team Lazy Bones t-shirts.

And all the kids again with their mommies. Poor baby Kyle some how got cut out of this picture, oops!

Prosper Homecoming '09

Audrey and I went to the Prosper Homecoming parade on Friday afternoon. It was a beautiful day and Audrey really enjoyed watching the horses and fire truck.

When it was over we made our way over to the High School for the pep rally.

Audrey seemed to like the drum line and did a little dancing between taking bites of her rice cakes.

Then that evening Daddy went with us to the homecoming game. Prosper beat Decatur 49 to 10.

It was a gorgeous night to be outside and the perfect start to a wonderful, fun filled weekend!

Audrey vs Tupperware

All kids love Tupperware.

Audrey is no exception.

I hate Tupperware so I'm glad Barker found a way to finally get some use out of it, instead of it just taking up space.

Audrey's Allergies

So my husband is about 99.98% perfect. One of the only things I would change about him are his allergies....because he passed them onto my child. And not just a little, it's terrible. Really, the only thing I could do was nurse for a year to try to knock them out. It works on some kids. It helped, but it didn't completely get rid of them. The past few days have not been kind to Audrey. Her nose is bothering her so much that she doesn't want to nap. She doesn't want to lay down. She'll crawl up next to me on the couch and try to sleep leaning on me, but I don't want her to get into that habit. So today when we had be fighting over the nap for a good 4 or 5 hours, I decided to fight dirty and put her in the car. We went down the street to Target to pick up some long sleeve shirts and leggings. When I got her out of the car she didn't want to wake up. So I put her blanket down and let her nap while I shopped. Sweet relief!!

Grapefest 09

We went to Grapefest today with some friends and had a great time! It was good to get out of the house and get a break from all this rain.

While we were there we all had lunch at Johanna's restaurant, Lazy Bones Pub, and then burned some of those calories off by doing a lot of walking. We tried to find Audrey some clothes but they were all too big for her little self. We ran into Veronica and Isabella at the carousel but I failed to get a picture.

Oh, and we went down this huge slide!

Audrey and I raced Johanna and the twins.

And Audrey rode on a carousel for the first time.

Ella, Audrey and Avery. (Johanna and the twins were doing some shopping)
We had a lot of fun and hope to do it again next year.

Mr. and Mrs. Michael Lamb

Last week we went to Vegas for our friends Mike and Lacy's wedding at Ceasar's Palace. We had an awesome time in Vegas (bachelorette party, shopping, good food, Pure and the Pussycat Dolls) and we were so happy to celebrate with Mike and Lacy.

It was my first time to take Audrey on a plane and she was perfect! Such a trooper!

Last time we stayed at the Mirage. This time we decided to check out Planet Hollywood and it was awesome!

Us, kinda sad to be leaving Planet Hollywood, even though we all look tickled pink. Congrats again Mr. and Mrs. Lamb! We couldn't be happier for you two.

Painting with friends

Today we put on some crummy clothes and went back to Creative Hands to paint some things for the house. My friend Melissa met us there with her two beautiful babies, Will and Harper.

Harper giving Audi a big squeeze.

Audi did better than she did when we went to paint for Father's Day. She's still not crazy about it, but it gets a little better every time we attempt it. And we were happy that the Shooks could join us for some crafty fun!
After painting we went to lunch and played at the park with Rebekah and Henry. Audi actually got much messier at the park than she did painting. Whew! What a day!

A visit from the Barker twins!!

My friend Johanna brought her twins up for a play date today.
Audrey was so happy to see her friends!

Grayden loves to give hugs. Such a sweet girl!

Silly girls!

These two love to sit on the stairs. I've seen them do it a thousand times at their house so I wasn't surprised when I looked over and saw them bouncing on ours.

Ball pit photo-op.

Three little ladies cookin' up some fun.

It was a great afternoon and Audrey and I were so happy to have our friends over for a play date and some girl talk.

Hello Liam

Audi and I got to meet our friends Will and Cara's bundle of joy, Liam, this week.
Will and Cara went to high school with Barker.

Audi and I really enjoyed our afternoon with little Liam and his mommy.

Pillow for the tooth fairy or for sleeping?

I sewed Henry a tooth fairy pillow a couple of weeks ago and let Audi hold it on the way to the post office to mail it to him. But she snuggled up with it and passed out on the way there.

Audrey's 1st Ice Cream Cone

I let Audi have her first ice cream cone all by herself a couple of weeks ago. Just thought I'd share a random picture of her and her sweet tooth.
