Lazy Bones Halloween

On the Friday night before Halloween we went out to Grapevine for the festival on Main St and dinner at Johanna's Pub, Lazy Bones.

Audrey enjoyed some pizza and people watching.

Myself and Audrey, Mieke and Ella, and Johanna, Grayden and Camden.

I forgot my camera so Johanna was our photographer for the night.

We had a great time. It was nice to be outside after being cooped up due to rain for most of the month.

My Precious Pumpkin

I took Audrey to a pumpkin patch for a few minutes today. We've been wanting to go to this really cool pumpkin farm in Celina but it never stops raining up here. So this one had to do. She wasn't cheesing for the camera like she normally does because she was so confused. She had no idea what to think of all the pumpkins or being dirty.

Party at the Gilliland's

Saturday night we went to the Gilliland's Halloween party. We couldn't stay long but we had a great time.

Audrey was especially excited to see Dora the Explorer! She squealed with delight! It was precious! Boots on the other hand, she wasn't so fond of. She started to cry when she saw Kris.

Welcome Miss Kinsley!

Today Audrey and I went to the hospital to meet my friend Jenn's baby Kinsley Marie.

She's a cutie pie at 8lbs 7oz and 20 1/2 inches long.

We didn't get to stay too long because Audrey was being quite the little wiggle worm. There were just too many things she could unplug and get into.

State Fair 09

Since the sun finally decided to come back we thought we'd take advantage of it and hit the state fair on the last day. We had a wonderful time and ran into tons of friends along the way. Oh, and some fried food, too. But not nearly as much as I had planned.

Audrey enjoying her first Fletcher's corn dog.

Big Tex

First we ran into Kris, Veronica and Isabella. But just like at Grapefest, I totally spaced and failed to get a picture. I swear, these people do exist.

Then we bumped into Heather, Ransom and Brooklyn.

Audrey poking Brooklyn in the head. Nice.

But Brooklyn is just as sweet as her mother and laughed it off.

Then we saw Ann and Scott in the food pavilion. Big surprise! (Scott is a foodie like me)

What a great day!!

Arlington Mommies Halloween Party

On Saturday my Arlington Mommies group had their Halloween party. We had a lot of fun! Super cute costumes, great food and good times!

Eliza was so excited to be snow white.

Pretty sad that mine and Audrey's hair was looking so rough after just a few hours but Daddy's crazy hair was firmly in place.

Yay for Halloween parties and friends!!

I love U2

We never miss U2. In fact, a U2 concert was one of our first dates. I just took the little camera so I didn't get many decent pics and it was foggy outside so those were ruined too. Bummer.

The huge stage

The Blanchers made it over from Shreveport to go with us! We had a great time. Oh and Bono kept throwing in Beatles lyrics. I'm sure he did that as special treat for my birthday ; )

Go horns = )
