This year Valentine's Day fell on Mardi Gras so we kept the mushiness to a minimum.
Barker and I went out for a casual dinner sans kids on Friday. Saturday morning he ran to Krispy Kreme to get the kids super cute donuts.
We just gave the kids cards (Monster Trucks for Hudson) and chocolates this year because I knew they'd snag a ton of toys at the parades. I kept it simple with Barker's gifts this year and just got him a few new pullovers, since it looks as if it will be winter forever. He went the more thoughtful route with mine, as always. What can I say? He's a catch.
But the best bit were our loves, the Bakers, coming to visit.
