Tuesday mornings in the park

On Tuesday mornings Audrey and I meet Rebekah and Henry at the park for some cardio.
This is Audrey in her velour track suit her Daddy bought her, should she need to work out or just in case it becomes 2002 again.

Duck, duck, goose!

We went down the street to our friend Johanna's house today to feed her ducks and turtles because we haven't had any ducks land this year at our house. And our turtle is quite shy. Luckily, Johanna was nice enough to share her ducks with us this afternoon.
It was Audrey's nap time so she wasn't in the best mood, but we still had a good time.
It was a beautiful day.

A very special congrats

I wanted send out a very special congrats our friend Chris Driscoll who just found out that he was accepted into a doctoral program at Rice University in Houston. There were only 2 spots available and he snagged one of them. We're beyond excited for him and glad that all of his hard work is paying off.

He moved to Vanderbilt for graduate school a few days after Audrey was born so he hasn't seen her since he came to visit us in the hospital. We were happy to have him over for a visit on Friday and even more pleased to have him back in Texas soon.
