Happy Valetine's Day Part 2

We finally had our Valentine's Day party for my Arlington Moms play group.
(The weather put it off last week)

Aiden, Audrey, Gray, Colin, Cam, and Lily

We made gift bags for the kiddies to put their valentines in.

And Audrey jumped her little heart out.

Kisses for Kinsley

My friend Jenn brought her daughter, Kinsley, over to play with Audrey this week.

Audrey just couldn't help showering her with kisses!

She loves babies!

18 months old!

Not sure how it happened but at some point Audrey became 18 months old!

Happy Valentines Day!

Everyday is Valentine's Day around our house. But today we started out with Daddy's Heart shaped pancakes...

and then it was time for gifts!

I think Audrey liked the toys she snagged.

But I think she loved the card even more than the toys and soccer ball shaped candy.

It plays the Pretenders "I'll Stand By You" but it could have played anything and she'd have loved it.

Scrub a Dub Dub

Audrey's no spill cups actually do spill a little from time to time. I guess she felt she should help me clean it up. I had a Clorox wipe so she took it upon herself to go get a baby wipe and help.

Mommy's little helper.

Snow-made Ice Cream

I asked Barker to take advantage of all this snow and make us some 'snow-made' ice cream.

Audrey tried to wait patiently but she gets her patience, or lack there of, from me. She refused to leave the kitchen! And it was well worth the wait. So yummy!

Happy Valentines Day Part 1

On Monday we went to the Valentines play date for one of the 3 play groups we're in. These are just some random pics of Audrey and a few of her friends.

Audrey and Chloe

My friend Jane put a princess crown on Audrey.

Her son Marshall was just a tad upset. He wanted to wear it himself.

So we shared : )

Who Dat!

On Super Bowl Sunday we headed on over to Mike and Lacy's to cheer on the Saints.

Barker let Audrey play with some beads.

I love this pic cause it looks like she's praying for the Saints to win it.

Audrey shared her beads with Buffy...

...and her crayons with Jackson.

I love her portable chalk board!

Then Jackson decided to toilet paper the bathroom.

Audrey, Peyton and Jackson...looks like a lineup!

Audrey wanted to give Buffy some kisses.

And this is last known picture before the dreaded Super Bowl Plague hit. Notice how happy Lacy looks. That smile didn't last long. So far just about everyone that entered the house has since come down with some horrible, contagious illness. We some how managed to be in the lucky minority that avoided it. Hope everyone gets well soon!

Don't eat the Yellow Snow

We woke up to snow again this morning...

...as far as the eye can see.

So Barker took Audrey out to play in it.

They made snow balls to kick and throw (at me on the porch.)

Then Barker thought it would be funny to try to get her to eat some snow. She looked at him like he was crazy.

But she trusts him so she took a bite. And she thought it was the funniest thing ever!

And a special thanks to her Auntie Meg in Tomball for the awesome zebra striped Wellies! They're a big hit!

But then Barker had an even better idea....smores!!!

Audrey had never had smores so he thought it would be great to make some for snack after she got up from her nap.

She likes smores much more than the fruit and yogurt I usually give her for her snack.
Imagine that.

Yum

Barker never stops surprising us with his extra special ideas!
