Saint Patrick's Day

This year for Saint Patrick's Day we celebrated in a bit of a random fashion. We started out with a little soccer in the park, then breakfast at Julie Anne's Bakery. Barker bought Girl Scout cookies and we let Hudson nap. When he finally woke up we ran across the street to try to catch the end of the Saint Patrick's Day parade through our neighborhood. I was sure to put Audrey's clover bow in her hair and Hudson donned some camo shorts. Then we loaded up the stroller and headed downtown for the Shamrock block party. The kids chowed down, danced, Audrey painted and had her face painted, and all around enjoyed the perfect weather.

Then we decided to walk down to the river to let the kids check out some boats and see the progress on the newest Casino being constructed.

When we finally made it home Barker grilled and the kids inhaled it, took showers, had a tickle contest on our bed, and passed out.
It was an epic day. My heart swelled when Barker said "This is the best way to spend a Saturday night."
