Saturday we had planned on floating the Brazos with my friend Misty but they had let out a lot of water, so we decided to spend the day on a boat instead. Once we soaked up all the sun we went to Beth and Taylor's for Beth's birthday. She had a Minute to Win It party. And it was hysterical! If you haven't seen Minute to Win It, it's a game show where contestants use normal house hold items to compete against each other, and the clock.
Poor Barker had to do a game as soon as we got there. And after being on a boat all day in the heat and having probably well over 12 beers, he of course drew a game that involved spinning in circles for a minute. He won, but it could have gone in a whole other direction. Yikes!
I took a lot of pictures but not many that anyone would want on the Internet.

This one of Taylor isn't too bad.

And this one of JD looking like this is the best day of his life, thanks to wife Terri, is pretty tame.
The most popular drunk game of the night, I think, involved throwing plastic bottles partially filled with liquid onto a table and getting them to land and stay upright.

Terri was the first one to make it stick after the husbands had all been trying for an hour or more.

We knew we'd have a good time, but we had no idea we'd both win prizes and laugh until our faces hurt.
Thanks Beth and Taylor for having us over!
