Yet another busy, busy weekend

Wow. It just never ends. We had another crazy busy weekend.
On Friday Barker worked in Prosper so after Audrey's dentist appointment we met him for lunch. That evening we rushed to Arlington for Cam Cam and Gray Gray's half birthday party. It didn't do us much good because we hit so much traffic from construction and an accident that we were late regardless. Poor Audrey missed out on cupcakes but at least she got to play in the Little Gym with her friends.

Audrey had a blast with the parachute
(please excuse her crazy hair, Luke rolled over her on the tumble track, which she thought was hysterical)

the twins

it was pirate themed

and she also loved the tumble track, which she's always hated at the Little Gym she goes to.

I didn't get many pictures because I spent a good deal of time holding this sweet baby, Evie!

After the party we met Barker's friends from college, Tom and Rebekah, for dinner at Chuy's.

Henry, Margaret and Audrey

Tom, Barker and the girls got to catch up... a rarity these days : (

After dinner Tom decided we should walk over to see some Christmas lights. But I walk faster than everyone else on the planet and ended up leading the way....straight to Pinkberry!

Henry approved of my decision to make a pit stop.
We all shared frozen yogurt and germs and the kids had a grand time.

Then it was on to see the lights.
Audrey refused to listen to me which was very nerve racking with it being dark and the Highlands being filled to the brim with holiday shoppers. She's normally great about holding our hands in parking lots but this trip to the lights and back was about all I could handle with her refusing to walk with us or listen to me. I was beyond frustrated and if I wasn't in a good mood from all the Mexican food and frozen yogurt, Audrey probably would have spent the whole night in time out next to a tree.

Not sure what these two were doing here.
But despite my child stressing me out around cars, it was a nice night and we were glad to be able to spend some time with the Louis family, which normally only happens when some one's had a baby or is getting married.

The next day we took Audrey to Chuck E Cheese for Ciara's 3rd birthday!

This is fitting because Audrey loves to sing the Beatles song 'Baby You Can Drive My Car.'
No idea how many times a day I hear "Beep beep, beep beep, yeah!"

Then it was a race to get to my Prosper Mom's Group's Christmas party. Audrey had so much fun she didn't want to leave. She whined the whole way to the car and the entire way home. We threw her in the bath, brushed and flossed those teeth, and then she went straight to sleep. She was one tired girl and I was past ready to get out of my heels and into some pajamas.
