A ton of our friends decided to partake in the Warrior Dash this weekend. It's a 3.5 mile obstacle course for those of you that have never heard of such a thing.

before the race
Scott, Barker, Jay and Zane (and his Warrior Dash/Cinco de Mayo mustache)
They encourage you to wear costumes during the race. Here is just a small sample...

Jesus

tooth fairy

the Hulk, brother

and businessmen that must have come straight from the office.

The guys waiting for the race to start.
Jay and Scott decided to run shirtless but Barker thought that might be a bad idea and in the end, he was thankful he wore one. It helped in an obstacle that would have been more difficult or painful with out one. Zane wore a white top he pulled out of his dad's closet, that he ran in probably 20 years ago.

And they're off.

Oh yeah, It's Always Sunny!
Once it started, the guys were at the front so we had to hustle to get to the finish line, knowing there was a good chance Zane could come in first.

And sure enough, he was the first to come leaping over the flames!
(Thanks Rep for taking the fire pics!)
By the time they got to me they were so muddy I couldn't recognize them.

Scott flew by a dozen people on the last obstacle which was crawling under barbed wire through the mud. I only got this pic of Scott because the crowd was screaming so loud about how fast he was. He definitely did that obstacle faster than anyone else, by and far!

Barker, after the fire.

And after the last mud pit.

He was so covered I didn't recognize him in time to get a pic of his face.

The suits finally made it to the last mud pit, too.

And properly trashed those suits.

Jay in the mud.

And nearing the finish line.
Zane did in fact win their wave (est. 500 in each wave) and he wasn't even going all out.
Pretty impressive.

After the race
Jay, Barker, Zane and Scott

I swiped a pic of my friend Corey that ran it Sunday after we left.
(Barker had an outdoor soccer game at 5)

Looks like he enjoyed himself!!
I also swiped a pic of our friends that ran it on Saturday.

Mike (in the helmet) Kris, Stephan and Kyle

and JD and Terri.

The guys after hosing off.

And celebrating with viking helmets and free beer.
After the race the guys donated their shoes to a charity that cleans them up and puts them to good use.

Clean clothes and ready to head home. Can't wait for next year!!
